Bin-Laden driver gets five years

Osama bin Laden's former driver has been sentenced to almost six years jail after being convicted of supporting terrorism.
A military jury at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba sentenced Salim Hamdan to five and a half years in prison after US prosecutors had asked for at least 30 years.
The sentence takes into account time already served by Hamdan since he was charged in 2003.
While the sentence will make him eligible for release in just six months, the Pentagon has already indicated it has no plans to release him.
During his sentencing hearing, Hamdan pleaded for leniency by pointing to the case of Australian David Hicks, who accepted a plea deal on the same charge, and was given seven years in jail.

If osama is not really dead yet surely a millionare needs a driver.
Dumb assed fbi/cia they should just release this guy and follow him as he seeks to get his old job back.
The FBI and CIA Homeland defense etc.have already proved incompetant in finding osama or any evidence for 9/11 against Osama .
They should give this guy a chance ,after
years of imprisonment he will be desperate to get his old job back and anyway may lead the CIA to Osamas cook and a bit of torture of the cook may lead to
the big fish.
Get and jail for life Osamas cook too!
