In the absence of the injured Jason Holder, allrounder Rovman Powell will lead West Indies in their ODI leg of the ongoing Bangladesh tour. Batsman Darren Bravo, who had last played an ODI two years ago, T20I captain Carlos Brathwaite and offspin-bowling allrounder Roston Chase all returned to the squad.
"In the absence of captain Jason Holder, the panel believes the team can still be competitive, especially with the return of Darren Bravo," Courtney Browne, the chairman of selectors, said. "Darren's experience will add value to the batting, which in turn will place selection pressure for spots in the squad."
