100 Thieves advance to LTA North lower-bracket final

100 Thieves squeezed past Cloud9 3-2 on Friday, earning a berth in the lower-bracket final at the League of Legends' Championship of The Americas North 2025 Split 3 in Los Angeles.

The victory sends 100 Thieves into a Saturday showdown with Shopify Rebellion. The winner will advance to oppose FlyQuest in the grand final on Sunday.

100 Thieves also wrapped up berth in the LoL Championship of The Americas, scheduled for Sept. 13-28. The top three teams from the current tournament will head to the event in Allen, Texas, later this month.

Playoff matches in the Los Angeles event are best-of-five, with the champion earning an automatic berth into the World Championship that begins Oct. 14 in China.

100 Thieves began the Friday match with a 33-minute win on red, but Cloud9 countered with a 34-minute victory on blue. After 100 Thieves prevailed in 36 minutes on blue, Cloud9 equalized again in 29 minutes on blue. On the decisive fifth map, 100 Thieves won in 31 minutes on blue.

Australia's Ian Victor 'FBI' Huang paced 100 Thieves with a 17/12/29 kill-death-assist ratio. South Korea's Lee 'Loki' Sang-min finished at 21/8/27 for Cloud9.
